Laura Tusi

Laura Tusi studied Arts at University of Buenos Aires. She has been an archive researcher and producer for film, TV, and exhibitions since 2008. In that role, she works with artists, directors and producers providing archival footage in adequate licensing conditions. Some recent collaborations are:  Hugo Pratt in Argentina (Switzerland, 2021) by Stefano Knuchel, Maradona (UK, 2019) by Asif Kapadia, Monzón, (Argentina, 2019) Buena Vista Originals and Pampa Films, and La Casa de Argüello, (Argentina, 2018) by Valentina Llorens. She co-directed and produced Metropolis refundada (2010), a documentary about the finding of the longest existing print of Fritz Lang’s masterpiece in Buenos Aires's Film Museum. She lectured Audiovisual Media History at the University of Buenos Aires between 2007 and 2017, and currently teaches a post graduate seminar about Archive Research and Production at UNTREF. Based in Buenos Aires, she has an active role in the audiovisual preservation field.
